Eversince the second
Hollertronix I've been collecting them. Some of these exquisite compilers of the mash-up (focusing on Baltimore) got collectible. The producer roster, when mentioned include
Diplo, DJ Gold Face, A-Trak, Scotty B, DJ Tameil, Eli Escobar ao. (although a lot of tracks are produced by Hollertronix). All names known from the Bmore scenery. The releases are mostly released by
Money Studies, the label connected to the famous
Turntable Lab recordshop. Since the Hollertronix #8 they got released by Diplo's own
Mad Decent, which was with
DJ Sega (remember the
Welcome To Hell logo..!). The #9 was based around
Buraka Som Sistema which is a blast and in almost everyones record bag I know. This new one is with dutch crashers
PartySquad! If you visit the
Mad Decent blog regular base you know they have mentioned and reviewed them for more then a year. This new Hollertonix is mixing of clubby stlye swingbeat, ragga, acidhouse and bangers together into a mad mash-up.
