Introducing Svetlana Industries

1000names mentioned in their interview a new label which will definitely turn heads. Svetlana Industries is the name and they are very very close to their first release. The label finds its roots in Belgrade but they have wide connections with musicians and visual artists from all over the world. The logo for example was created by an Swede who customizes motorbikes and classic cars! As an introduction a free EP is offered up for download.
The EP consists out of 2 remixes of the track Backup by Deekline & Wizard. First one is by our friends 1000names! They’ve sampled the inner workings of an alien spaceship and arranged it into a delightful head-nodding beat-composition. The vocals on top work surprisingly well and will remind you that the track is actually made on Earth. Filtercutter did a dubstep remix. This guy understands how to not make a wobble into one big cliche. The midrange is their in conjunction with the rest of the track and it’s not an all-overwhelming skank out mediator.
