Floating Points

One off the buzz names of the last few months is Floating Points. His name came to mention a couple of times in my record collection. He released a beautiful broken/nu soul kinda thing (Love me Like This) on R2 Records. On the new Egio Records (his own label) he released two amazing tracks of soulful, instrumental downbeat, using a Sun Ra vocal bit on one of them. This week we noticed his 3rd in a short time on Planet Mu. In the new 12 inch series (in the FaltyDL, Starkey area). This new one has a more housy feel to it with a great layering of sounds which has the Burial and Kode 9 echo. He also made a great mixtape for Fabric which you can download here.
