SHLOHMO

Stumbled upon through some people who dropped this on the twit and then hitting Shlomo's myspace. Shlomo is a young dude from LA and he makes this glitchy abstract beats music full of stuttering beats and shifting patterns, kinda laidback-hip-glitch-hop-soul covered in a wide range of sounds like electric birds, moody synth echoes, wobbling bass. His Shlomoshun EP is already out for half a year (OK I totally failed on this ;-0 ) and it's beautiful listening music: nodding on the couch! In October he released the Shlo-fi EP as a free-download. Also here we experience this relaxing couch music (in the most positive way). He creates landscapes with his tracks that are amazingly clear. My daughter is leaning on the couch next to me and drams away (that kinda feel). But this second EP you also find a more dancefloor kinda beat like Socks that makes you stand up and dance nodding....  He maintains a blog Wedititcollective which is nice. Check it!
