As promised a second part of what I did last summer. Except of 4 1/2 weeks of doing not much outdoors, playing at Raw Rhythm (which was a blast) and looking at the records that dropped in. My favourites: 3x3FLYING LOTUS L.A. EP 3X3 The remix saga of the LA record is coming to an end with some magic from Dimlite (amazing track), Breakage and Matthewdavid ao. Most daring are the two brand new tracks of FlyLo himself. Check

SOUTHSIDE STEPPERSsouthside When She Moves

Souljazz is again making a mark with this 12". A perfect blend of dancehall and dubstep as Kingston MC’s meet the sounds of South London in a soundclash style! What this makes  standout is the add of grimey masculinity mix with the ruffness of the Bug

get offDIPLO & BLAQSTARR Get Off

Everything you hear from Diplo on a record is amazing (other then his sometimes to housy live-sets). This collab with label employee Blaqstarr is again in your face nasty! I have the serato version also but this has some extra remixes by Jack Beats!

VARIOUS ARTISTSelektronische Elektronische Unterhaltungsmusik 1

Oke this might be a shock but I like this record. Fancy electronics somewhere between electro, house and IDM.Still this is very cool with some glitches, harmonics.

Plain listening and dance music.

rustieRUSTIE Bad Science

You might understand that we just love this stuff. Ever since Jagz The Smack we are into his moves. It takes us through a abstract beats landscape full of electronics,, glitches, power-tronics, low bit wonders. Again he makes clear he is a master at work.

DORIAN CONCEPTdorian Trilingual Dance Sexperience

The man from Austria makes a point again with his soulfull  abstract beats sound. He continues the high standard he started with also on  AFFINE records. He is establishing him in the higher ground with FlyLo, Hudmo, Rustie ao.

Must have!

dev79DEV79 In Ya Face (remixes) Friends of Starkey have our attention especially if they work at the same radio station: Seclusiasis Which also became a label. With some nasty remixes by Edu K and Egyptrixx but his original is damn hot with a housy chorus and a strong ongoing wobble.

AMANDA BLANKamanda I Love You

We know her from Spank Rock, Santigold and Major Lazer contributions. Here solo is some fancy electro pop mash-up. With strong lyrics, with Diplo, Switch, XXXChange and Eli Escobar contributing the bulk of the material. The diversity is her strength and some reworks like A love Song is mind blowing!

souleanceSOULEANCE Le Monde EP

Our man Fulgeance joins forces with DJ Soulist in this great blend of soulfull hip hop/electro. Strong choices are made in sampling voices, bass lines.
